Minimalism

I like to talk.

I like to talk alot.

If you let me, I will talk until the sun rises. (I have, in the past, literally done this. It is quite enjoyable.)

But I do not like clutter. No matter what my bedroom looks like, I still do not like it. As such, I tend not to like cluttering up other people's things. (no matter what my roommates may think.)

I like to be wordy where I think it is appropriate, like "artist's comments", "journals", and my "comments" on another artist's peice. I do this to appreciate the art and to give my honest ideas on different things, especially when something strikes or inspires me.

I really appreciate the people who have favorited and commented on some of my work (most notably and recently Mrs. Lovett and the choker that she modeled for me.)

But. I tend to not respond to each and every post, expressing my thanks, because I like to let readers of said comments not worry about what I think about what people think about my work. What I think about my work tends to be expressed in the "artist's comments" section, and I tend to get pretty wordy.

If there is a specific question to be addressed that more than just an individual(whom I can contact via a "note") would be interested in, I will answer it on the boards for the specific peice. Eventually I usually will also express a general thanks to those that have complimented me.

I also will not go to your page and say "Thanks for the [X]!" where X is +friend, +favourite, +watch, et cetera. I think this clutters things, and I can certainly think of other things that I can say in public to you. I am pretty sure that if the public wanted to know, they could go look for it.

To sum up, I am trying to say that I do appreciate what people say about my art (especially well-thought critique), no matter how little I actually express it.

As a post script - I really do like people to be wordy on my works where appropriate. exempli gratia, comments on my work, in notes, responses to journals, et cetera.
